 Registration for 2018-2019 Season

The 2018-2019 Season will begin the week of October 15. 

Registration will take place at the Kimberley Curling Club on the following dates:

Tuesday October 2 (7:00-9:00 pm)

Wednesday October 3 (6:00-9:00 pm)

Thursday October 4 (6:00-9:00 pm)

Wednesday October 10 (6:00 - 9:00 pm) 

Our Evening League line-up will look like this:

Monday - Social League

Tuesday - Open

Wednesday - Mixed

Thursday - Competitive Cash League

Friday - Doubles 

High School & Junior Leagues (TBD) 

This year our evening leagues will offer a half season option, accomodating those that may be away for extended periods during the winter. The evening leagues will be scheduled for Oct-Dec and Jan-Mar.

The Daytimers League will continue at 10:00am on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and will continue with a schedule based on quarters.. 

We also have several bonspiels and funspiels planned for the year. See the Bonspiels Page for dates and details. 

 Facility Rentals

The Facilities are available year round for public and private functions (banquets, reunions & receptions). Book your Christmas party now at Kimberley’s most affordable venue!!!

The Kimberley Curling Club is equipped with six sheets of ice, lounge and canteen. It offers fun and affordable winter recreation activity for all ages and abilities.

The Kimberley Curling Club was awarded “Club of the Year” by Curl BC in 2011, and hosted that Wall Grain Mixed Doubles Classic in 2016.

The rink area, lower viewing area and washrooms are completely wheelchair accessible to those with limited mobility issues.

 Dart League

The Kimberley Curling Club host the Dart Leage on Wednesday evenings through October to March. For further degails refer to the Dart Leage section under the Our Club  tab.

Curl BC is delivering a Club Coach Workshop at the Kimberly Curling Club on October 26th-28th, 2018

This streamlined 2 day workshop prepares coaches to work with club curlers from beginner to intermedfiate curlers at all age groups. The technical and theory being offered in one weekend by Curl BC Coach Developer Karen Watson.Coaches can learn about:

  • teaching strategy, tactics and decision making processes
  • delivery & brushing skills
  • making ethical decisions
  • emergency action plans
  • skill analysis & drills to correct faults
  • practice planning
  • competition planning
